More Than a Century of Engineering Excellence

A Legacy Built on Innovation

Few engineering companies can trace their heritage back more than a century. Fewer still can point to a history of pioneering innovation across multiple industries.

The Frazer-Nash story began in 1910, when engineer and inventor Archie Frazer-Nash helped develop the groundbreaking GN cyclecar. His passion for solving complex engineering challenges would go on to create one of Britain’s most respected engineering names.

In 1922, Archie established the Frazer-Nash motorcar company, producing a series of innovative sports cars that earned a reputation for performance, ingenuity and engineering excellence. The Frazer-Nash name quickly became synonymous with precision engineering and technical innovation.

Engineering That Helped
Shape Industries

Archie Frazer-Nash was never content to stand still. By the late 1920s, he had turned his attention towards aviation and advanced engineering, establishing a business focused on solving the challenges of a rapidly evolving aerospace industry.

During the Second World War, Frazer-Nash became renowned for the development of advanced powered gun turret systems fitted to some of Britain’s most iconic aircraft, including the Lancaster and Wellington bombers. These innovations played a significant role in supporting the Allied war effort and demonstrated the company’s ability to engineer solutions for the most demanding applications.

From Historic Achievements to
Modern Innovation

Today, Frazer-Nash Manufacturing carries forward the spirit that defined Archie Frazer-Nash from the very beginning: a determination to solve difficult engineering problems through ingenuity, collaboration and technical excellence.

While technologies have changed dramatically over the last century, our approach remains the same. We work closely with customers to deliver complex, high-precision components and assemblies that support some of today’s most ambitious programmes in space, science, research and advanced technology.

Engineering Heritage. Modern Capability.

For more than 100 years, the Frazer-Nash name has been associated with innovation, performance and engineering excellence.

That legacy continues today in every component we manufacture, every challenge we
solve and every customer partnership we build.

Because great engineering never goes out of style.
